Dome Light R&R?

You'ld think since I just finished replacing the u-joints the dome light would be a piece of cake. Not. It doesn't appear to be possible to replace it behind the center mounted stop lamp on the cab, and I can't tell how the lens/lens-frame comes off inside the cab if it does. I don't want to break anything, so before going further I thought I'ld ask for your wisdom. They're probably all the same, I don't know, but my truck is a 2002 Ranger Reg Cab XL.

Please Help,
Craig

I was thinking that, but just the pulling I did seemed like it was going to bend the lens frame. Are you sure?

What I do is get a big flat-head screw driver and stick is on the "clip" on the side (if you look close you can kind of see a little place). Then while pushing from the other side, turn the screwdriver sideways and it should pop off just fine.

Thanks Oh5Edge! That worked perfectly with the big flathead screwdriver.
