Well. Not yet. But it is getting replaced. I'm not sure by what yet, however I will say I haven't found any rangers that caught my attention, which saddens me. I blew the radiator last week, replaced it, and discovered a broken engine mount after starting to test the radiator. Long story missing many details to make it short: Ford wants 7k to fix the whole thing. Mainly being that it requires a new engine. KBB says she is worth 3500 in good condition. Whatever replaces her, I'm not gonna be leaving here.

Maybe you can get some members in your part of the country to help fix it, just pay for the parts. Why do you say it needs a new engine?

Im not sure why they stated it needs an engine, just says. engine- 5 day freight- 2500- labor 22 hours total cost 4500. and then other things to total it all up

 

just figured id update. truck is still at ford. possibly selling to my roommate for a very low amount since his 91 f250 BB just isn't cutting it for him anymore.

had an awesome lead on a mint 04 Z71 single cab 5.3 something like 26000 miles. sold. makes me angry.

does anyone consider a jeep liberty feminine? theres an 07 4x4 manual with not even 10000 miles for 12k at a dealership in town.

yeah. ive never really wanted a dodge... im looking for a low mileage 4wd, dont really want an suv..but the price and mileage, plus a manual.. just seems nice.

yeah i know.. which is why im trying to shy away from it. cant find any decent rangers. lots of dodges (5.7 single cabs. oh la la) all 2wd though. Now i remember why i kept my truck till it died.

 

Id look at F-150's the 97-03 came with 4.2 V6 4x4 twin sticks too i think

 

Our van has had a broken engine mount for about 5 years. Doesnt affect any thing except it clunks when you go over bumps.
