Damn too bad it is so far away. 2500 seems a little steep to me, considering it has frame damage. But it would make a nice donor vehicle

yeah 2500 is alot to ask for a wrecked vehicle... especially one that has frame damage..

 

i'd pick it up if i knew it was a manual. im thinking interior swap, tcase swap, trans swap(since i hate my newer trans gear ratios). i'd considering it if it were closer.

i almost bought a 01 roll over that was double lifted fully loaded and was DWB...almost bought it for 1800.....this was before i was double lifted. iwas gonna use the superlift and bodylift and wheels and tires and the 50k engine.

$2500 is steep, even with a clean title, its not worth more than $1000-$1500

 

No such thing as light frame damage. WAY too much.

 

There is wrecked ranger near me with a 4.0L that only has 22k on it and the truck is an 04 or 05 and its only 1500 and its damage is nothing to that.

 

I want the front seats and the back right one.

 

uh yeah there is. I bought a 95 s-10 one time that was t-boned hard and buckeled the cab mount into the frame. Heated it up on the frame machine and it popped right back out. seen other frame damage that has been fixed very easily and right back where its supposed to be spec.

 

What i should have said was that there is no light frame damage on that truck. It will probably need a rear frame section. I worked at a body shop and put a rear section on a ranger. It is a lot of work and hard to get perfect again.

 

I've seen this truck in person, definitly not worth it. Mangled the frame where the rear leafs mount up, axle shaft I think is bent, cab is pretty messed up. Bed is garbage. has a nice interior, but its electronic transfer case if IRC. Not worth the $2500 he wants, maybe $700-$900.

 

I could convert my truck to 4wd with that truck.

Also get skid plates and better shocks.

However, I'd pay a maximum of $700-800 for it like rangerkid said.

 

LOL, he wants as much as Edmunds appraises it for in rough, yet working condition.

That truck is totaled. He was clearly t-boned. I dont know why he doesnt just take the insurance pay out on it.

Unless he either doesn't have insurance or bought it back and is trying to make another 2500 on top of the 8000 or so it was worth before the wreck.

 

If you wind up getting it can I pretty please have the console for some money and Bates of course? Haha. But really, I want a center console and buckets at some point.
