Got a new front end thanks to a chevy impala I didnt see til it was to late. Happened at 6:41 this morning going to school. I didnt get a pic of the impala but it was totalled, the ford still drove fine. I clipped the impala at maybe 15mph and it was running 70 or so. Here is the pic right after it happened.

i think he clipped the impala going 70, when he was going 15....were you getting on an on ramp or something?

I was coming across hwy 25 (4 lane) takin the back roads to school like I normally do, I got past the first two lanes fine, and yielded at the second, I didnt see anything so I eased of the clutch and began going. Then I caught headlights coming on the other side of the passenger a pillar and slammed the brakes on. I tagged it right in the rear door, sent it spinning out about 8 or 9 times down the road. I stopped dead center of both lanes of traffic. Air bag hit me (they suck) and for a moment or 2 I didnt know what was going on. Pulled my truck off the road and called highway patrol. Took them 30 minutes to get there and first thing he said was when he got the call he knew what had happened, he responed to the same thing 3 times at the same place before.

Its 4 lane but the road I was crossing over is on top of a steep hill and the highway runs up the hill and boom they meet. Its just a bad intersection. Its my first wreck in 4 years of driving and yes it is my fault, hard to admit but it is. Insurance is going to cover hers but not mine. I got all new front end for $219 out the door in a great color of red. No one was hurt, and for that I am thankful. Just sucks it happened.

I believe the your state could be in trouble as well. If an area is bad for wrecks and no action is taken to improve the area.

 

Yea Im not pointing fingers, I mean I did hit her. I admit it openly. I know of one person killed there by a log truck, and a few minor ones like mine. Did yall guys know in MS its 10 dollars to file a accident report? I didnt know that one til today. My mom thought the HP was going to give me a ticket for hitting her, and I just laughed.

 

almost had this happen one time in my school parking lot. i was going about 10mph and this dumb girl decided to drive right in front of me in the parking lot without slowing down or looking. come within inches of the light bar, after she looked at me and realized her mistake she got a nice middle finger from me and my girlfriend

They were going 70 (exceeding the limit by >5mph I assume) up a hill where there's a bad intersection.

You shouldn't have admitted fault.

 

I was heading east across the highway and she was heading north on the highway, I plowed into the side of her. I didnt admit fault to anyone but myself, I told the highway patrol I looked Cause I did and didnt see anything till she was past my passenger side a pillar then it was to late.

I already have another front end on her. I went back with stuff from a 95 since I had to have my truck back. I got a airbag coming for $45 bucks, I will get some new pics up today after school.
