Did the wrecked mod today

So on my way home from work today I ended up rear-ending someone in a 94 buick century. Stupid me I was following too close and people started slamming on brakes but my truck didnt stop quite fast enough. No excuse I was the idiot today but it sure does make me sad especially since I just detailed it Sunday. Insurance said his car will probably be totalled and smartly of me i still carry full coverage and plenty of it too, so none to worry there. At least no one was hurt. Now I just have to figure out how to get everything looking pretty again. What really sucks is my airbag went off and thats the only thing worrying me. I had the passenger one turned off for when my girlfriend rides in the truck. Its a sad day but everything will get fixed and be okay. Anyways here are a few pics doesn't look too bad.

The bull bar has now pretty much become a part of the bumper haha. I woulda just been junkyarding it for some new parts if the airbag hadnt gone off.

Kinda wasn't sure if the first two pics were before or after the crash. How fast were you going?

Is there a lot of damage to your bumper or did the bull bar take most of the beating?

Pretty much just the bull bar i think it saved my whole setup the brackets got the worst of it. And thankfully i also have up to 1500 dollars customization so ill still get my grill and bar back.

At first I was like "okay the first picture is from before, so the second one will be after..." but thats not the case at all lol. The bull bar seemed to do its job pretty well.
I don't mean to jack your thread, but I gotta ask, where did you get that awesome grill? or did you just get a billet and then stick a ford emblem there?

That sucks. but you should be alright as far as it not being totaled cause I think its 70% of value before its totaled.

that was at 25 mph? good lord, my truck got hit at 25 km/hr (probably 12 mph) and the bed bumpers tailgate were ell messed, cab was damaged from the bed hitting it and the frame was bent. i love how indestructible the front ends of our trucks are, but the rear ends are softttt. anyways, glad to see there isnt much damage to your truck, sucks about the air bag tho, that'll be the biggest pain to fix

NOT TOO BAD ! that $ucks period ! Sorry to hear that $hit !

That’s one thing I worry about a rear-ender… people now-a-days suck and look for a reaspn just to f-up someone else’s stuff.

Not that you are selling it but if I was closer to PA I would ask a price on the damaged grille, I need a few cross bars.

Dude u can find air bags at the junk yard. For like 50$. If u get one before your appraisal guy comes out they'll be a smaller chance that the would total it

Well got my estimate done today and they're looking at a little over 3k to fix it at a Ford dealership. Now I'm just waiting on the call from the insurance company to see what they say but I am going to assume they're just going to fix it. With a new bull bar, billet grill, and fogs.

And Fink132 yes it is just a regular billet grill with the original Ford emblem moved to the corner. I just always liked the way that looked.

I always liked those things. They stand up better than grille guard for some reason as well. I think because grille hard are top heavy and cover more of the front end they damage more then they get hit.
