i have an 08 4.0L and dont really know where to install my temp senor. did you guys remove your factory sensor???

 

Are you talking about a e-fan probe or an aftermarket guage?

A e-fan probe will go into the radiator fins up close to the top hose area.

A guage sensor ought to be in the coolant and on the engine side of the stat.

Use a scangauge....
I always have Water Temp running on my scangauge...

 

i got a autometer water temp gauge...
