Are Autolite Plats still #1?

Going to need to change the plugs soon, So far I've only used Autolite Plats but was wondering if anything else has come out that you guys are using?

I wont touch Splitfires or the +2, +3, +4 Boschs.

I'm running NGK Iridiums... first set I found in my size and they work good... as with most plugs, they either work well or they dont - you dont notice huge gains anywhere on the system ever

If I remember correctly I think they're a fine-wire design and looks like a good plug.

They tested those on Horsepower TV (or was it Trucks....idk) a little while ago and it did look very inpressive and I think would e a great combo with a good set of wires (like the Livewire 10mm). But, being $25 ea. is a huge deterrent.

Will probally be buying them. My Heater Control Vavle sprung a leak yesterday so thats getting fixed before these. And Im going to buy a set of Taylor wires.

When I changed mine, Champion Double Platinum's were called for....I don't thing Autolite/AC Delco even had a 'double' platinum at the time. The single platinums that came with the truck new were completely worn out when I changed them at the first service interval.
The double platinums should last 100K.
