I must be a pack rat.

So I go to the local scrap yard to dump a load of steel and the workers there thought I might want these. There off, by what they said dropped them off, a new mustang. So I dont know why I took these but now Im the proud owner of two mustang mufflers. Now what the heck do I do with them beside throw them back in the scrap pile?

Heck yeah, as mentioned above - cut out your current muffler, drop an X pipe there, and follow it up with these two mounted around where your spare tire carrier is I bet it would sound pretty good..!

Should only cost maybe 75 bucks I bet - you have everything you need, they only need an xpipe/straight pipe and maybe a few feet of tubing.. really cheap... hell, I bet they could get it done in about 2 hours tops from walk in to leaving :-)

Upadate. Si I droped the truck off today to get this going 15 minutes later the muffler guy calls me and says that he cut off the pipe to weld straight pipe to the muffler and he looked inside and found that those mufflers are more restrictive than the stock ranger. He goes ahead and welds one on and I swing by in the work truck to find out it sounds quieter than stock. So plans changed instead he roams his shop and finds a single chamber racing muffler and slaps it on and dumped the pipe. holy hell I love it. I will get pics up here in a lil, need to go get batterys, but I dont have a way to get you any sound.

For that price, it's most likely some cheap-o no name muffler.

We do work for each other all the time and Im sure he wants to rent a roll-off box from me to get rid of car parts so Ill have to give him a break. I though he said it a flowmaster single chamber but it sounds like my buddies magnaflow straigh through turbo muffler he got a few years back...what ever it is I like the sound. Hopefully someone I know will have a camcorder so I can get video.

They are already back in the scrap heap. They wweigh 23 lbs a piece so to ship those itches would be like 45 each
