Good to know, when most people hear bankruptcy they immediately think the company is going out of business which isn't always true.

did you follow the link and read it?

the reply states: "Bret Lovett, owner of Superlift here. I don’t browse the forums much, but I just saw your post from May 7 about our Chapter 11 filing. Superlift did file Chapter 11 reorganization on April 9, 2009. Ours is a text book reorganization, not a prelude to going out of business. It is a long and complicated story, but boils down to us , like so many others, having a poor 2008 then our banks reigning-in credit at a time when we needed more. Currently, the reorg plan is on schedule and the business climate has steadily improved. We still manufacture most product in-house, we are shipping daily, designing new stuff, and the Limited Lifetime Warranty we’ve honored for 34 years is still in place.

The 4.5” Ranger replacement knuckle lift is a good mover for us, and we are shipping systems. Let me know if you need one and I’ll steer you to a dealer."

Yup, just what I thought (ok... KNEW). They filed chapter 11 to help get out of some debt. They are still in business, they still make the only Ranger suspension lift, and they still honor their warranty. Everyone should buy a superlift! lol

Did you see where you saw him mention about a 4.5" knuckle? Maybe they're bringing something new out too.

I think he was referring to the current kit. The larger knuckles is what lifts the front end

Yeah I knew that, I thought it was only a 4" one though. Lol I was getting my hopes up, a new lift product for the ranger isn't going to happen for a while.

I saw it in person about 2 years ago. It looks like the RCD kit with more red. I'm not sure if it got past the prototype stage.

Nah, not a new one anyway. I'd like to pick up a older one for a trail rig. I wish I could convince my mom to trade our dakota in for a ranger for my brother.
