Regardless of opinion, no one can overlook the dedication, time, and skill that it took to reach what he has achieved.

 

Not everyone knows zach well.

I remember when his truck was a baby just like most of ours. We put a BL on it and 32s and was like that is sweet.

Zach then put a Super lift on it and 35s and we sat back and looked at it and thought Sweet!

Zach thought."This SL really sucks wheeling...hmmm"

Then came the day, SAS and 35s. Looked back and thought sweet!!!

Zach is to the point in his build that he wants function. He replaced the 30 with a 44. replaced coils with coil overs. so on and so on.

zachs front end did well, his rear end would not keep up. he has been wanting to re-do the rear end for a long *** time. he got the chance and ran with it.

In fact he is still not happy with the rear end but I he has it figured out.

what I am saying, his truck has function now for what he wants to do. Talking to zach he could really care less if it gets scratched. he could care less if it gets a dent.

he is not going to drive 50 MPH into a woods on purpose to tear it up. But if he where rock crawling and hit a tree I dought he would care.

He hurts it, he fixes it.

Zach is one of the few people I know that can build something for function and still make it look bad *** and clean.


If zach wanted a beauty queen he would not have hacked the rear end off.

He wants function and tries to make it look good as possible.

IBTL is right. The countdown is ticking on this. The only reason it isnt already locked is I'm still standing here beside myself that Dave started a thread to complain about someone else's truck. The insanity of this is making me unable to find the lock button. So I figure in about 5 minutes (10:43pm), I will find it and push it.

but I dont really care, i didnt build it to please anyone else but myself. some people like it some dont. now that it isnt a daily driver all i do is tear it up and fix it. doesnt matter to me what others think of it. though i do like criticism so i can build it better the next time.

btw to me its just a chunk of metal and parts, eventually it will be nothing but junk so might as well have fun with while i can.

 

wow man i think we should start a thread and put a poll in it and see how many people love beards truck compared to how many people hate beards truck. me i love his truck. i wish i had the skills it takes to build something like what he did the time and money he has into his truck is probably more than i have made in my life time so far in my short 19 years.
