Wanting more lift ... someone told me...

I am once again seeking out more lift for my truck... keep in mind it is an 02 2wd Edge... A buddy of mine said there might be a way to get lifted spindles for the front...

I already have a 3" susoension and 3" body... I am looking for 3 more inches...

Is this possible and if so where do you find the parts...?

Thanks everyone

What kind of suspension lift do you have? your suspension lift is spindles and springs or shackles most likely.

You already have 3" lift spindles. You are as big as you can go, unless you go 6.0 Camburg/Camberg long travel kit for an EDGE. (I can never spell that right. lol)

Is his truck the same as the guy from Florida who had 40s and was a 2wd?

You technically can use torsion keys for 3"...but those are not good for your suspension at all. You will just be stressing out parts. I personally wouldn't do it.

Only other thing you could do is a custom build. Adding drop brackets (like the RCD/Superlift) and creating a set of ball joint spacers (Some Yota guys run them) like the discontinued 4x4 Trailmaster lift had.

The 6" Doestch lift is for an XLT, it includes lift spindles and coils. Edge's only have lift spindles for suspension lifts. You can only go custom if you want to lift your truck up more. Either a custom IFS lift or going SAS, like most guys do.

Again, that kit is for coil-spring trucks. 2wd Edges/Sport/Trailheads have torsion bars.

He CAN run an RCD or superlift for that matter, but he'll have to use 4wd wheelbearing/hubss and CV stubs to keep the bearings together.

Swap to new upper arms to allow for more lift, and throw on a set of coil-overs. I think you'll gain about 2" or so.
