It's a free loaner from Ford. Free gas too, they said don't worry about filling it up. My dad was hit head on by a drunk driver in Mexico. We sent it to Ford to fix it up. He has a 99' XLT. They put a sport all white bumper on the front instead of the chrome XLT bumper. It doesn't look bad but when the rear bumper is still chrome it doesn't look right. They were really nice and gave my dad a loaner truck. I'm amazed at how deep the bed is plus it's super long. I can probably park my Ranger in the back, lol not really but it's huge in comparison. The interior is also really nice considering this is like a work truck model. The best part is that my dad takes the bus to work (City pays for it) so he gave it to me to drive around for a few days. The Ranger gets a nice break for once.

It's a free loaner with free gas so

I could be driving a little Focus or something crappy like that. This is a work truck and not a grocery getter. It's not pretty but it gets the job done. I actually kind of like the long bed. I can haul so much crap if I wanted to. The 4.2 v6 sucks so bad in this huge truck. I hop in my ranger and it's like a race truck compared to this thing.

I love the long bed. My dad's drives like a dream, it's the same truck only grey interior and red paint. His is the 4.2L as well, it suits him, but I find it funny the 2009's get the same gas mileage with the 2v 4.6 V8.

I had a loaner F150, their NICE trucks. good cruising trucks. In my own opinion, if i had the money, id have one. Their exceptionally large however, but the interiors have it all over the ranger.

It's definitely large, but as karrbass said, it does drive like a dream. It's very smooth driving and handling.

Thanks Zach. He is doing fine. He was stopped at a red light when a little Dodge Neon hit him at about 20mph head on. Then the little car backed out of the F-150 and somehow managed to drive away! That amazes me how he was able to drive away. I don't think the Neon made it very far though.

Thats like a base model. Way too big for me. Go take it into the bush and have some fun!

It is very tempting to take it out in the desert for a spin. I'm not going to because I don't want to damage their vehicle, get it stuck, flat tire, etc. I would get mad too because it can't go where my Ranger does. It's fun driving around town though!

I like the long bed, i think it would look good with a ten inch lift and a cap.

Not a bad truck. I had a plane Jane in an '05 model 3 years ago for work. The bed was handy as all get out for hauling stuff and the 4.6 wasn't to bad either.
