Truck looks good except for the tires sticking out too much.
How much lift did you end up with ? Could you have done less, I am interested in the SAS but I don’t want a lot of lift, so just asking. Did I read you used a D30 ? How much smaller is that than a D44 ? thks/ltr |

The swampers i had just for playin around with. The beadlock sims are the DDs. But all in all it was very cheap to do. It was just very time consuming. Yes i used a D30. It is plenty strong being that its my DD and barely sees much offroad. And it rides great. I have made some long trips down the highway with it already and it handles like stock. I couldnt be happier with it. All in all it cost just about 1k in the SAS. Thats parts and tools and everything. But amount of lift not sure. I had 37s on it and thats about the biggest i could fit without rubbing. maybe about 9 inches.

Ill try and get some pics with driveshaft in and some flex pics. But it does really flex that well yet cause i have stock rear springs with stacked blocks. I know i have it the cheap way but its temperary. Anyone have ideas to get about 8 inches of lift in the rear?? F150 Spings? The chevy 63s? What have you all done?

no modding for the expo leafs, theyre a direct swap. basically ranger leafs with built in AAL, then you put in AAL and they ride pretty high. i know a few people who run the chevy 63s, and i think you have to mod the leaf hangers on both sides, idk.
