2008 Superlifted, Pre-keyd, New wheels and tires!

Here are a few pictures of my 2008 Ford Ranger, my dad and best friend are installing everything while Im deployed in Afghanistan, Im pretty lucky to have such great people in my life! So far on the list.... 4 Inch Superlift, Superlift driveshaft, Buddies 2001 torsion key's 33x10.50x15 BFG's, 1090 Pro Comp Wheels, Detroit Tru-Trac LSD, X3 Programmer, Volant CAI. Next on the list is exhaust, line-x and maybe tint to match the front windows to the rear. Thinking about a westin bull bar. Feel free to give me ideas! Cant wait to get home and see how she drives!

the only thing i can see needing done is taking off the side steps, they make it look lower to the ground

man your truck is just a DSG version of mine, i wish i could make my truck look like that!

you need some 06+ Level II Tow Hooks like mine, they would really set off the grille and wheels

Yeah, i thought the same thing about the tires when i saw the pictures. Im stationed in Texas, the drive from Maryland to Texas can be a haul! I wanted to keep something that would still help on the street. Those tow hooks look mean, im going to have to get onto EBAY and see if i can find a set. Thanks for the compliments guys!

all 08+ torsion bar trucks sit 1.5-2" lower than previous years. And no, Fx4's DO NOT have any additional suspension height over XLT's or Sports. The 16" wheels with 30" tires that come on them Fx4's are bigger than what come on XLT's(most of those are 15's and 29's)

Anywho...Tim...it looks great! They need to crank those bars up. I can definately tell it's got a Superlift under it....my guess is that the suspension has settled and the key adjustment bolt just isn't deep enough and/or isn't up to factory depth. With the PreKey and stock rear, the truck should be sitting level like pictured below.

DisturbedESV's '08 (bodylifted, Prekeyed, stock rear, 33x12.50's on 15x8's)
