I still can't believe how many miles that truck has on it, and what it started out looking like. Amazing.

You have grammar slightly above Downey's. It is sad.

-motor has never been opened up except to change the oil, and the transmission has never been opened up except to reseal the tailshaft housing

-suspension parts have been replaced due to tire size

-clutch was replace for wear at 160,000 and twice after due to the incorrect clutch the first time, and the second clutch coming apart. had the original slave cylinder until 180,000

-other than routine maintenance and tune ups, nothing real crazy has been replaced.

Very nice looking for the mileage! The paint on my 98 was very clean when I sold it with 145k miles, but it was in Oregon.

What are you doing to keep the truck from rusting away up there?

I see so many 05+ trucks around here with the rocker panels totally rusted out from the way they salt, even down here. Starting to fight with the rust a little myself. ugh

The pictures make it look alot better

the drivers bedside, hood and tailgate have been all repainted at one point or another

the inside of the passenger door looks like swiss cheese, theres a bubble under the drivers side flare about dime size, and theres a spot right below the 4x4 emblem on the drivers bedside where the filler is about to let go. the rear bumper will be replaced after the winter is over with a color matched one.

Yeah the bottom of both my doors are completely rusted out on the inside and starting to bubble on the other side. Looks fine now but I defiantly will need new ones. I hear that 93-95 doors or some years around there have sealant at the bottom so they don't rust out. I'll probably try to find a pair and have them repainted and put new panels on them.

Damn, I feel sorry for you guys and getting rust on your trucks so early in their lives.

My 05 doesn't have a spec of rust, or even anything close to it. Not even on the underbody.

My Bronco is about 98 percent rust free, with the exception of some surface rust where some paint chipped off the hood.

Of course, i've always been pretty crazy with washing the salt off my trucks. The Bronco was washed at least once every few weeks in all the winters its lived threw. Up until this year, just because it hasn't been driven much in the winter.
