B-Day snow run
well me and some friend went up to the snow today for my 18th and to test out the 4.88's and the lockers. truck did awesome. i got stuck first in this trench thing but i was able to winch out of it. then everybody else kept getting stuck. i was with 3 Toyota's, and dodge and a f150. i ended up pulling everyone there out at least 3 times. everyone kept getting stuck in stuff i was just walking trough. and i had to winch/ pull a lot of people out. someone would get stuck and then the person trying to pull them out would get stuck and a soon as i would get one person out someone else was buried. my winch isnt sounding too happy but it was pulling strong all day. not may pics but i got some.

Route 1? Where is that? I don't remember it, don't see it on the map.
I spent a ton of time during my childhood driving from Eureka out into the mountains there. My grandparents have a big property out 299. If you go out to Willow Creek, up 96 to Weitchpec (always stopped there for slushies in the summer), hang a right at Somes Bar (salmon river highway) and it is across from the Nordheimer campground area before you get to Forks of the Salmon. It is about 2 miles up a gated road. It is such a beautiful area out there, spent a lot of time in the river, going to the fire lookouts on the mountains and stuff like that. There are 3-4 houses up there, all powered by their own hydro-electric generator coming down nordheimer creek. I need to get back out there. My grandma has a hard time keeping up with the cabin since my grandpa passed.
