I dont have the media, nor do I have the tips.

You need like coconut shells to blast those rims. Which requires a different tip for my gun. And those tips run about a grand. All I have is what came with the unit.

Pool sand, glass bead, extra fine sand will RUIN those rims. Sandblasting aluminum rims is a BIG deal. For one, its very easy to warp the rim, then its junk.

I wont blast those rims.

If you had access to a Soda blaster that would remove it with no problems

Soda blaster is just baking soda coming out at a high PSI.

So have you been sitting on these for this long or did you decide to mine more aluminum, build a foundry, and make some new wheels?

Oh and they look good, now get them powder coated in DSG.

All I have to do is clear them. Then get the tires mounted and balanced.

funny how life works out. In the past 2 years i have work 70-80 hours a week at 2 jobs, put my wife through school, we had our first child, and upkeep on my house that i bought just before i bought these rims.

thanks for the compliment, but i am not going to be repowdercoating them, they are pretty close to dsg for my taste and a hundred percent better than when i got them.

Paint them black, I always wanted to see them that way, but don't want to do it to my own set.

Nope this is the color they ate staying. Maybe someday I will strip them down and do a different color, but I have had 3 people tell me they want their rims powdercoated done. If I could keep this up I probably quit my part time job at Walmart lol.
