I agree on taking them off to CLEAN UNDER them being it always gets crap under them..

but no need to every time you wax its called Painters Tape Green or Blue will work just fine...

Well that was my main purpose but also from many yrs of detailing i've done ive found it easier and quicker to do it that way if you have the choice. Only when buffing of course. Less time taping and fine cleanin afterwards. I have to keep reminding myself that this is a truck and not a show car that im used too...lol.

Takes me under 15 min to tape off Flares, door handles, mirrors, tail gate handle, and my Rhino liner..

You still need to tape off mirrors and handles they also turn lovely colors with wax... just saying i detail many cars would rather not worry about braking clips then just take a few min taping some stuff off...

True that, true that, just different strokes fer different folks. I agree with ya too and touche!! But like i said the main reason was to get up under them, because i knew i had lot of mud under there..lol......

Sweet man! So you put your blinker's on the side of the mirror? I taped mine up in that position and it doesn't look too bad, but I think underneath might work better so people from behind you or in your blind spot will be able to see it better if it's underneath the mirror.
