Like title says... Been workin on my yota lately. Here's a bunch of pics from today. Got exo cage done, 42's, etc. psc hydro asst should be done by tues.

It just had the bumper. All of the tubing on the cab/fenders is new. Yeah I need different tails for sure. That's next on my list for cosmetic.
the 42s i saw in person were a SUPER soft compound.. they seemed like they would tear some serious **** up!! but not last long on the street.
but i only got to see the jeep on a trail that an IFS open/open ranger made it up so i never really saw its limits.

look at some pics of 49" Iroks on a 15, hell even a 16.5.. thats funny.
i wouldn't take it that far.. they claim "as strong" but a 60 will still be stronger.
your ring gear is still tiny.
im done before i start another argument haha

Hey I totally agree. I see less people breaking longfields than stock dana 60's but I know my ring and pinion are still my weak links so that's the advantage the 60 has over me. If I start breaking these, I'll switch axles but for now i'm going to try it. I know some people that run 42's and bigger and never have problems with similar set-ups and I also know people who break upgraded 1 ton's with 39.5's. It's worth a try in my opinion.
It's about the same as my ranger. Minus the exo cage on top, I think it's shorter than the ranger. If not, real close.
