If you like it that's great. I think it looks gayer than a bag of peckers, though.

No actually it's a common phrase here, it did take me a minute to make it forum friendly though!

x2! It's why I know something I'm doing next week some people wont like, but its practical for me. It'll definitely look sweet with some snow boards up there.

I'll tell ya this, looks better than some faggy light bar "HURRRR I NEED 1000JIGGAWATTS OF LIGHT FROM MY ROOF!!!".

Did you have to buy the snowboard holder seperately? how does it mount down? Do you have to do any cutting? Sorry I haven't been up close to any of those in a long time but thinkin of jackin some from a junkyard if available.

i agree. i hate lightbars on the top of the truck. so hick-ish haha

no offense to those on here with them. some people can pull it off, some just.. can't.

i took out the headliner and weighed the options. since the mounting points are over the "structural" part of the roof, i decided to use some 1" self tappers on all four corners. worked great! its sturdy as can be. then used silicone over the screws inside and out. we've had downpours all yesterday and today, and no leaks that i can see. so i think its good.

and yeah i still need to get a snowboard rack. but they have a universal mounting deal so they'll clamp onto the cross bars.

and only cutting i did was cutting them to length, 37" long to be exact. and i had to notch it out where my satellite radio antenna from the factory is. can't take it out because it leaves a fatty hole. :(

ditched the front spacers. wanna prolong the life of my BJ's and TRE's as much as possible.

and since the front tracks wider then the rear stock, they're exactly even now with the rear spacers still in and no spacers on the front. i like it.
