Bodylift and Swampers on!

Ok well, a 12 hour bodyliftis complete. Got the tires mounted yesturday. They needed 9 oz of weight haha. I only have 6 on them and it's not too bad, just a little shaky at 55. I love how they sound tooling down the road. I have a few things left with the bodylift.....the rear bumper needs to be adjusted because I have to drill another hole in the frame for a bolt. I also need to make up some homeade gap gaurds too. My fenders now are 43" out back and 40.5" up front. These swampers measure about 32.5" on the truck and are supposed to be a 33x11.5. I can only imagine what the thornbird haters are going to say about them haha enjoy.

More like 20k-30k. This is a light truck.

You can get 30k if you rotate them properly.

Even a regular bias TSL you can get 20k out of. And a bogger, same thing, like 30k...depends on how you rotate them a lot of the time

I'm trying them with 35 psi right now...I need to figure out a good psi to run em...and if I get 20k out of these tires ill be happy. For what I paid for em and how I like em 20k would be alright with me....plus that's like 2 years of driving for me haha

Like 600 bucks. I found the tires on craigslist for 400, and a bodylift from jcwhitney.

looks good. I've only seen thornbirds once in person and those side lugs are huge. gives it a mean look even if they do have a bad rep. But I don't think people realize that they are made to drive in the sand, not rocks and mud.
