dont really follow ... i buy older stuff generally, and wanted a bigger truck, so i was kinda between a t100 and a chev silverado ... so i ended up going for the toyota .... has nothing to do with ford not having it together imo, i could see myself maybe owning another ranger or an f150 down the line

I get sssooo pi$$ed when I think back when I wanted to buy a new Ranger around 03 and FORD in its infinite wisdom decided that you can only buy certain options with certain truck and if you wanted this option pkg you needed this one too; a lot of BS.
Now Ford has again shown its stupidity or business savvy in getting rid of one of the best selling trucks and the one I like.

So where is this going ??? When I see a Ranger owner buying another truck I immediately think, “If we only had a new Ranger coming off the lines.
In your case as in others it wouldn’t change things but my mind goes in overdrive think of all of Ford’s BS they are handing down to us and thinking “Buy it you’ll like it because we say so” !

Again sorry for entering comment that may or may not belong.
Luck with the Toy.

You're driving an older Toyota in California with dark windows, I hope you're prepared to be profiled and pulled over a lot! lol

havent been rolled yet but have only been seen by sherrifs around town ... saw chp once on the freeway so far but they were hauling *** so im guessing looking for someone else

but yes they turned out a bit darker than i would have liked, must be higher quality tint, or the place i used to go (that has since closed down) told me **** was 20% when it wasnt.

i wish i could find a 4v4 manual t100 in the condition yours is in. old t100's and tacomas are pretty rare in canada so they are expensive and have rust.

as far as my research shows, they only made 500,000 total or something

they are expensive here too, but a bit cheaper than similarly equipped tacomas, took me forever to find one with under 200k on it .... a guy on another board im on just paid 7200 for one with close to 200k on it that was 4wd in alaska.

if you get a v6 one, hold out for a 95 or newer, 93 - 94's had the ****ty 3.0 v6.

Nice, I've always liked those. I almost got a 4x4 ext. cab white one before I got my ranger, but it was sold when I got there. Only thing I don't like about them is how the bed hangs over about 3 feet past the rear wheels.

i like toyota drive train quality. i like some of the early 90s styling but not really. too foreign looking. but i could get over that. i can't get over there frame and body rust issues. i've never seen any vehicles rust as bad in so short a time as those 90s and early 00s yotas. they are a metal quality mess.

hence why it still looks awesome. it's the same with old chevys. my buddy just got a mid 90s z71 1500 and it is spotless. but its from the carolinas. anything similar up here is missing the bumper and completely rusted out underneath.
