bring on the cold

Winter is a great season to drive.

Heck yes it is, blizzard moving through now, woke up to 6 inches and even larger drifts with gusting winds, just fixed the 4wd and rain-x'd the windshield yesterday, perfect timing! Love driving in this

I'm with ya there, we're expected to get up to 6 inchs, time to go do some donuts in a parking lot somewhere.

so being from the deep south and we dont see that kind of cold weather , whats that grill cover for?
does it keep the motor runnig hotter?

yea, keeps the wind out since there is no holes through it. lot of diesel guys use them and i was surprised to see that they have one for the ranger.

Lol I was confused and thought that OP was from the south using a grille cover. They use em a lot up here too, warms your engine up a ton quicker. Sucks waiting 20 min to have a warm truck.

Winter cover does help in heating up faster. A Canadian winter bug screen lol. It gets pretty darn cold here so keeping the powerplant warm and protected from the harsh winter elements help. There are ports on the winter front that can opened for warmer days to allow cool air flow.
