Cinco De Mayo = Drive the 'Cuda Day
Cinco De Mayo = Drive the 'Cuda Day
Just two pics, nothing fancy. Got the 'ol Fish out today. Drove it to work and such. Trying to get some time in before it's too dang hot to drive the thing. Also brought my other hood home from storage, start doing a little paint prep to it.
I don't like adding a/c to Muscle Cars, atleast aftermarket style. Hot or not outside. Takes away from the nostalgia. If i want creature comforts of a newer vehicle, I'll drive my truck. I'm sure not cluttering up or hacking up my interior for a/c! Just means I'll do some summer night cruising. A/C or not, black vinyl is going to get hot as hell!
Only way I'd really consider adding air, is if i were to install a factory air dash ($$), have a working factory compressor setup on the late model Hemi i want, and I'll make the rest work. Since I don't use the heater core, I can fab up a different HVAC case to work with, and duct to the stock vents...
But for that kinda $$, i rather go faster!

Not yet...I'll swap a 5 speed down the road. Not every 21 year old's muscle car can be perfect ya know lol. All in time

Did that for two years when i was my only car. Got pretty used to it, spoiled now with my freezing ranger a/c though lol

vents are tucked way under the dash
Its actually surprising how many classic cars are autos. It was like sweet a tranny that shifts on its own!!! and everyone and their mom bought one. BTW my '66 Mustang has a 3 speed auto... i feel ur pain lol Sweet car BTW nothing like a yellow muscle car w/ black stripes!
