clayed, polished, and waxed.. finally

So after having my truck for about a year now, and doing nothing but regular washes and small touchups.. I finally got around to detailing it before the snow flies.

Also, Im up for criticism on the rack.. "dude thats the nastiest thing I've ever seen" or "hey thats no to bad, whatever you like" I like it some days, hate it others.

Couple shots pre-detailed/pre-rack:

paint came out nice, stain the rack a dark cherry so it sticks out less and burry it in lacquer.

Truck looks great, I'm not feeling the rack, it just stands out to much. Paint it black, or stain it a darker color and it will look better.

Is the rack functional? If so, i would paint it black. The detailing was worth it, looks good

Thanks for having a nice looking advert for your business! I too, am a landscaper (landscape architect actually) and I've see more crappy looking designs then not.

Truck looks great minus the rack. I admire the time and energy that went into it, but the wood looks terrible.

Great job on the detailing. I think the rack would look better darker, like some of the other guys said. Still, great looking truck!
