Not sure about what i'm gonna say but If 3:55 is the stock ratio. You can't put a 4:10 in a stock axle???
Mike's sorta weird...see he went from 3.73 to the higher 3.55 ratio. Now he put 32's on it, and now needs more gear. lol.
[QUOTE=Fx4wannabe01;1386863]Cheaper and easier to swap axles than swap gears in an existing axle.
But when you put a 4:10 axle from which vehicule did you take the axle if all ranger as 3:55 axle...Correct me if i'm wrong???!!?

Whipple? hmmm...
So if mine is a 4x4 Level II i'm suppose to have which ratio??? I'm asking this because I Have 265/75/16 Mud Terrain and I think he need more power in it like in low end...What would be the best ratio for my truck??
How do you know if it's a 3:55 or 3:73 or a 4:10??Does is it written on the axle or something like this??

I'll forgive you this time. Come to the Summit Meet on the 11th and find out.
Matt(OVERthe EDGE), his buddy and I will be doing the install. I've said enough, now you can wonder.
There is a little tag on the diff. cover. There is also a code on your door tag. With a LII you have 4:10's.
