Cheaper and easier to swap axles than swap gears in an existing axle.

Mike's sorta weird...see he went from 3.73 to the higher 3.55 ratio. Now he put 32's on it, and now needs more gear. lol.

Hold on, wait a second. I never had 3:73's. I've only ever had 3:55's. Not going to say what, but there's good stuff ready to go on the truck You are right though, I am sorta weird.

Rangers come with either 3.55, 3.73, or 4.10 from the factory.

So if mine is a 4x4 Level II i'm suppose to have which ratio??? I'm asking this because I Have 265/75/16 Mud Terrain and I think he need more power in it like in low end...What would be the best ratio for my truck??
How do you know if it's a 3:55 or 3:73 or a 4:10??Does is it written on the axle or something like this??

There is a little tag on the diff. cover. There is also a code on your door tag. With a LII you have 4:10's.

So if I had 4:10 ...What could I do if I want more low end and get me up to speed a little quicker?I don't know if it's important but my Level II is manual..

If you didn't want to go with 4:56's you could go with 4:30's.

With such a small tire and having 4.10s and the 4.0, honestly, gearing it without plans for 35's is pointless and a huge waste of a grand.

You want a little quicker, get a tuner, exhaust, and intake.
