we have a few bunkers like that on fort story in va beach. not sure exactly what they were used for. some were communication some munitions storage. and some i have no clue. i know they were for cold war stuff. I want to go exploring

i wont give exact locations because well im not allowed to..lol but its on post..those are old bunkers they no longer use..there are some open ones that i can go in but i didnt because i need to get a battery for my surefire flashlight..that bunker the doors were welded shut but i was able to get a picture using the hole that is in the left door

next weekend or maybe sometime this week i will get some more pics from inside and around the area...there are a crapload of deers on post..ive never seen so man deers before in my life till i got here

there seems to always be a ton of deer on military posts because they are un hunted for the most part, plus they are not gun shy at all. we have had to cease fire many times at the range becuase of deer down range.

o0o0o creepy bunker! Theres a few of them at a old Army base down state from me. Its now a state park so you cant go in them.

dude, great pics, I love exploring all the old paz's(aircraft shelters) and stuff here on ramstein, just be careful of what you post.. I know on AFB's you arnt aloud to take pics of anything really, dont know about army post's. Just giving an FYI.. Great pics though!

probably for a reason..Usually when the military welds doors shut on buildings that means they dont want people going in lol.. Although, that also usually means thats where the interesting **** is!

well i call it the back 40 because there is nothing but trees and stuff...kinda like backwoods
