RIP '94
So my cousins '94 2wd, Ext. Cab, 5spd, 2.3L, Ranger caught on fire the other day. Heres some pics
He was behind his house checking out something and the truck got stuck so he tried rocking it out. He heard a "pop" sound and the truck shut it self off. He opened the hood a little bit, just where the latch catches it and the engine bay was in flammed. The fire was so hot the glass ended up melting to the floor boards. He lost his rifle which was up against the back of the cab and his VF radio which was in the cup holder on the floor.
He is selling everything from the box back (lights, bumper, axle, rims etc...)

Wow, scary stuff. I have had a truck catch fire in my garage, a car start while driving and a semi's brakes catch fire, although none have been nearly that bad. Since those incidents I always feel incredibly bad for the owner, I don't know what I'd do if my Ranger burnt after I'm done all my work.
