About time I did it!
So I've finally jumped on the bandwagon with Chevy shackles and maxed t-bars.
She looks good now.
Shackles with no crank. Looks pretty raked.
Driver's side maxed out
Think I need an alignment for my toe-out?
Looks good now!!
Front from the ground to the bottom the centre of fender flare is 35.5" and the back from the ground to the bottom of the fender flare is 37"
And some flex

good idea in theory... terrible idea in function. yes, you can clear larger tires.. but the suspension rides like dog-shat. dont get me wrong, my truck doesnt exactly ride like a caddy, but i prefer to salvage what good ride i have. i had entertained the idea of this mod, but i dont like the rake. IMO a level truck looks better than one with mad rake.
kudos on doing it though.

You for example...your SN is gotmud? Why would you need a flexible suspension when going through a mud hole?
Judging from most of mikeys posts, I never see him taking pictures climbing a rock face or going through rock gardens. Just everyday trail riding.

My truck stays on the road except for occasional mud fun. I don't take it on the trails or crawl with it. Half the time I just need the ground clearance for the roads in the winter!
I maxed the bars and took it for a drive to let them settle. I dont find it rides that bad at all. It's firm, but it always has been. It now has a little bit of rake even with the barx maxed, but it looks okay. Before the front end used to sit slightly higher than the bag and looked crappy.
As for installing the shackles, I had my mechanic do it. It took him 4 hours because the bolts were such a PITA. He had to torch and cut them off and he basically didn't enjoy doing it lol.
