Yeah you can replace just that section of line. It's only the rubber or plastic protective coating....around the cable there's a steel sleeve...so that cable should be good to go as far as usability.

So I kinda read through this thread briefly... I have to say I like the look of your truck dropped like that. Even with those rims, though I've always had a soft spot for 'em.
Also, I was gonna say to Smakes, why don't you just disassemble the sway-bar if you're gonna ship it? It'd fit in a long box pretty well in 3 pieces, I'd think. Just a thought...

Anyway nice drop. I would drop mine if I didn't like driving over stuff so much. lol

disassemble? the end links dont make it odd, its the bulge that sits over your diff that makes it an odd shape

Wrap it in bubble wrap and tape and hand it to UPS. I'm sure they would ship it..?

hahahaha. Sancho....you should totally get a 4x4 front sway bar. I drove grants last night, something he NEVER lets me do, and oh my lord!!! That thing handles the curves soooo effin' good!! 4x4 front sway + 3/4 bII rear....mind you...this is without a bed even. Doesn't like bumps all to well having no weight back there, but oh my that thing STOPS LIKE A MOTHER!!! His project thread will be updated in a few days.

98+ ranger 4x4 front bar...bolts right in place of your small stocker on a 98+ 2wd. The Thunderbolt trucks came with 4x4 front sway bars on 'em. Smakes truck? No clue. lol.

Who says a trailer hitch has no place on a lowered truck?

Looking good, just zip tie the e-brake cable to the axle so it doesn't hit the exhaust, or chop the exhaust off, and you're golden! Bet it feels really low now driving it, that will go away, and then you'll have to drop it again.

just looked at the E- brake cable, and its far enough away from the exhaust pipe, but in a few weeks the exhaust elbow will be removed... she is not going any lower
