EATC installed

I spent probably 6 hours on the install. There was a bit more to this one than the typical Explorer unit others have installed.

Not really, I thoroughly tested everything and studied wiring diagrams before I installed it. This unit is a bit more complicated to install vs the Explorer unit as this one requires going into the fuse box and it uses a blower motor module instead of a resistor that must be mounted in the cab to keep from getting wet. The Explorer unit is an easier install I just hated the rear fan off button as it would serve no purpose for me, id rather have the outside temp function of this unit. I used the sunload sensor, in car temp sensor, ambient temp sensor and blend door motor from an Explorer, the blower motor module and head unit are out of an Expedition. The housing on the expedition has the bolt holes to mount it in a slightly different location than the explorer so instead of trying to modify it, I opted to pull the electronics out and swap them into an explorer housing I already had. It was a lot of work but in the end I'm happy with it.

Didn't care for them either. Felt like I was constantly adjusting them to get the temp right. Its a fun little project for sure, you should consider it.

Once I have some more spare time I'll prob start digging into the wiring diagrams. I just need to borrow the workshop manual I gave to another member and I'll be good to go.

I know this old and I'm throwing a dart in the dark here, but I would like to know how you did this with the expedition eatc because I don't not wish to have the "rear fan" button.
