A few simple mods....

Hey all. I haven't posted pics in awhile and I have done a few simple mods. This is an 08 2WD so I won't be lifting it or anything serious but will occasionally add some conveniences and special touches to improve the overall appearance and some aspects of performance.

Since my last pics I have Tinted windows (factory rear, 20% fronts) / Added a tri-fold soft tonneau (amazed at how well it has held up this winter) / Stock size Firestone Destination A/T's (Love the look and the performance) And a custom stereo (no pics yet am getting a scangauge in a few days and will post interior once that is 'installed')

Here are some shots I took today, yes I know its dirty. Living in Canada in the winter = dirty vehicle.

Clarion Deck (nothing fancy) has mp3/aux input all i really wanted.

4xInfinity Reference 5x7's
Infinity 475a 4 channel amp (4x75 watts RMS)

Had it installed last week sounds pretty good. Is def way more powerful and much clearer than stock. Will really be nice when I'm on the highway in the Summer with my windows down.

Nothing too fancy but def better than stock. Whole system only cost me $ 650 canadian installed.

Yah, I was considering buying a used 07 but due to the pretty good financing incentives (0% for 60 months) and employee discount I went with a new one.

Also I loved the 08's grill compared to the 06/07 grill.

Everything looks good, but you should've gone with bigger tires when you replaced them. I'm assuming you replaced them due to the pictures and not being Goodyear Wranglers.

I wish man, but with it still being under warranty, and the fact that I don't wheel it there's no need.

I agree it would look better though. My next truck will be bigger and 4x4.

those bigger tires wouldnt void your warranty... btw could you paint the grill housing bright red and then send it to me, along with your tail lights :P

For anyone who has been considering purchasing a Scangauge in Canada, I have found a good seller. They are called Gifford Automotive out of Ottawa Ontario. I ordered mine on Monday and got it Wednesday of the same week!

They sell for $189.99 Cad including shipping. With our low dollar right now that is cheaper than buying one in the states for $160.

Anyway here is their site, they are extremely helpful and communicative. I received an email thanking me for my order and a tracking number from CanadaPost the afternoon I ordered it!
