The Final Photos...

So it's officially gone - dropped the Ranger off to it's new owner this morning but I took these last few pics before leaving my house this morning. Enjoy!

That was a nice truck man. Shame to see it go, but on to bigger and better things.

Hope it serves the new owner well. You will have to update us once you get your project vehicle.

Haha no that's my neighbour's van. Our driveways are sort of attached at the end.

That's exactly it! I love the truck, just time for a change!

Will do, I looked at that '68 Mustang today that I mentioned before but I think I'm going to keep looking.

When you first said it was for sale I tried so hard to get my wife into my Ranger so I could buy yours and then when that didn't work tired to get one of my friends to buy it. Such a nice looking truck and would have been awesome to see it around more often. I'm sure the person who bought it is going to love it. The mazda is looking awesome too by the way.

I bought an '05 Colorado ex-delivery truck from work to replace it as a DD. I'm on the hunt for a classic Mustang project. Looked at a '68 Coupe yesterday but I'm going to pass on that one!

The Colorado should last me a little while... high mileage (225,000 miles) but it's been well looked after and I've known the truck since brand new. It was my work vehicle for a year or so to and from work as well. There were some paint chips and surface rust around the wheel wells but I've got it looking half decent! Not bad for $445! Even with the cost of the truck, tax, safety, ownership transfer, plate transfer, second set of wheels with junk tires that are on it now, and a second set of tires that are basically new to put on tonight (truck came with winter tires) I have a grand total of $710 into it.

Thanks! Too bad it didn't work out but it just got to the point that it was time for the truck to go!

I'm liking the way the Mazda is turning out... I've got a few more plans for it. I got it tinted yesterday and I ordered some LED stuff for it today.

Sad to see it go Adam, at least I got to see it in person before it did. It's a great truck lets hope it stays that way.

Well so far it rides better, rides smoother and gets better mileage. lol The looks just aren't the same though!

Wasn't really a neeeeed, more of a want for a new project!

It won't be getting any upgrades. And to get it on the road it was actually only $565. The rest was just a second set of wheels and tires!

You were one of the last to see it before it left! I know where it lives now, so I'll keep a close eye on it!

How do you like the Colorado ? How does it compare to the Ranger ?

I'm looking to possibly buy one to replace my Ranger as well and would love to actually hear from someone that has one, LoL..

It's not bad at all, it hasn't really needed much besides brakes and a few small things over it's 363,000km life so far. The ride is surprisingly good and the gas mileage is decent!
