Finally putting up some pictures
Well I have been putting off putting up pics of my truck since I am slightly embarrassed of her stock height, rims, and tires but I finally caved. After I put in the Level II 8.8 I decided it was time to do a "photo shoot". Nothing fancy. Just garage and driveway since A. No nice scenery around here until winter when snow pretties up the place. B. I don't have the time or energy to go find a place to get some nice pics. C. She's not a 4x4 and doesn't have good off road tires so I can't take it down a trail or in a field to get any of those types of shoots.
I figured since everyone here has helped so much in making her what she is today you deserve to see what you have contributed towards. Thanks everybody for all your support and helpful advice these past 3-4 months that have let me make my once POS 10 year old 2WD junker in a respectable 10 year old 2WD Ford Ranger HAHA.
She needed a bath when I took these but eh, I'm not gonna do it.

My near future plans are to get some Doestch 3 inch lift spindles up front. I picked out some nice American Racing Baja aluminum 15x8 wheels at Summit Racing and I want to run 32s on them. Or 31s if I can't get 32s in my budget. I will also be doing a 01-03 Edge/4x4 front end with a 04-05 DSG painted bumper with unpainted valence and square fogs. I want to get a cowl induction hood from LMC. They are $500 though so it'll be awhile. I hope to get the whole truck repainted in two-tone Toreador Red and DSG by then. I can also have all the dents and damage fixed to. And replace my rusted out bed. It looks fine on the outside but under the liner I have two softball size holes and the 3 bed bolts are broke off.
Down the road I want to swap in a built 4.0 SOHC and get SAS'ed and 4x4'ed. Probably do a disc conversion on the Level II rear end and switch to a detroit tru-trac locker and run a coil sprung, manual hubed, eaton elockered D30 from a Cherokee up front. Borg-Warner 1354 so I can do a Twin stick setup. I don't want a trail rig though so I'm gonna keep it as low as possible. No bigger than 35s for tires. Run like 4.88s.
I'm just rambling on though. Big dreams for a little truck. It's gonna be fun though. This thing is gonna go from baseline XLT in 2008 to fully loaded 4x4 in 2015 LOL. I CANNOT WAIT!!!

yeah it's really similar to the fx4 cluster (maybe exactly the same) but the trim around it is silver. i swapped the trim with the black cluster i had so it's just like a regular tach cluster but with white overlays and pig numbers. plus i didn't want a cluster with the 4x4 lights since. well. i don't have 4x4.
