Found this in my mechanic's shop yesterday..

Went to my mechanic yesterday to see whatsup and get some advice on the truck.. And found this sittin in his garage along with a plymoth prowler that has been in there for like the last year lol..

Thunderbird in all her Glory.. She was in GREAT shape!

the guy in the pic Is my mechanic. This guy is amazing, so much knowledge. Anything you can ever imagine doing to your vehicle, he can do.. He Specializes in american cars. I went in there one time and he had 4 mustang GT500's in there lol.. 2 of them the engines were out getting suped up(didnt know you could supe up that engine any more lol)..

yeah, everytime i stop by, he has something new and more beautiful in there.. The guy is so lucky lol.. he owns a beautiful porche, a dodge ram, a subaru STi, and a jeep wrangler lol..

The tbird is def. one of my favorites though

yeah, hes got a chrysler 300C that the owner blew the engine, so he pulled the engine, and is putting a brand new one in. Gunna rebuild the old one and put it in one of his cars.. said hes gunna bore it out to a 6.1 i think?

Nice T-Bird for sure. You know what year it is? Looks like a Gen 1 from the pictures I'm seeing on Wiki.

not sure what engine that is.. Its def. a ford engine though, its the factory engine.

Good ol' FORD Y block v-8, think 50s, before the modern ford small block.

And BTW, it looks to be a '55 or '56 T-Bird.

My nighbor has a mint '64 he takes to cruise-ins all the time I need to get a pic out of the garage I know, and it's getting time where it won't see the light of day again until next summer.
