Dude....since my welder is a pile and i dont trust it on the hitch(just for tacking)...i'm having a buddy of mine weld it up on his dual shield 220. he's a fabber and he's really really got me thinking of getting a bumper too...but idk....he does tube work...and id rather prefer plate work...

Looks good!
Definitely a bit more work than the sport trac front receiver was. The whole in my bumper conveniently lined up for a receiver that bi-mart had for $50!

Tube bumpers FTW! Do it!
Did you ever see the tube bumper on my ranger? I'll PM you a couple pics as to not hi-jack this thread...
Though I have to say I have seen a couple damn nice plate bumpers on here lately.

yaya

if i didnt have to buy a new laptop i woulda had a hitch up front already

and idk, i like the look of a d-ring up front better btw, i have better plans for the front

thanks to camodown with his skidplate and project desert ranger for the valanceless bar idea thingy.

oh, did u know i got backed into a couple days back? kinda roughed up the plastic on the bumper, but all the hook got was a slight paint chip.....i really wanna see what hit me.....they hit me hard enough to knock alot of dirt frm my undercairrage off and my deck out.... my hook ftw. thing saved my trucks @ss

Looking good so far. A plate bumper will look much better on your truck than a tube bumper imo.
