well we got out today and had a lil fun in snow..not often we get to do that here in the deep south!! so here's some pics of the day!!.............

well we left the house and left the ranger behind...figured the FWD escape would be better for road conditions..

Got to the in-laws and they pulled the beast out!! lol and had a hood off a 50 something car that made a great sled!! lol

we all had a blast and kept it safe!! Thank GOODNESS kids crashed!! (went to sleep)!! LOL

looks like fun. heard someone here mention using a car hood as a sled, I chuckled haha. but, what can I say, we used a bedliner here the day after christmas. gotta love creativity and innovation.

Looks like yall had a good time though!..last time I saw a hood hooked up to a truck it was behind my old gen 3 2wd.....in 13" of snow! :D:D......had a lot of fun that day :D

lol well we got that that soft snow..its not packing snow...and roads weren't too bad just knew FWD would go better!! yeah i think we got that facemask at the dollor store or something.......we had a blast and fallin off wasnt too bad..we never got goin too fast....lol

 

Yeah I think my problem is we go 40mph...with two tupperware brand sleds tied behind a ranger so it is like a battle.

 

A friend of mine ended up it a gash in her arm down to the bone from doing this.

She was back out the next day at it again.

I loved riding the hood back home in North Carolina. :-P

That makes me think of all the stories I read of people pulling their kids behind their truck and killing them. Looks fun but I don't think I would be sticking a kid back there myself.

That's something those kids, at least the boy (age), will remember FOREVER. I still remember us doing it as really little kids. Fond memories..

LOL!! yeah that was the first thing i thought of too brian!! but we went slow and easy when kids were on and we were in a wide open field so we kept it safe for the kids..now the adults on the other hand.........LOL!!
