got another jeep
Well, I originally wanted an older ranger. I had looked for about a month, and everything I found was pure $#!%. Soon after giving up on the ranger hunt, I found this hunk of junk. 1991 4.0 automatic 193k miles on body, unknown on the engine, 4.5 lift, d30/d35 combo, with 3.55's. It just needed a fuel pump. Got it for 1000$. same day I brought it home, I had it tore apart, getting it ready to put my lift on it. As it sits now, it has about 7" of lift, on my old 33's. My buddy (pictured) helped me get the lift off, and other one on, and everything else associated with it. Wouldn't have been able to do it so quick without him eager to help lol. Here's pictures of before, and lots of after
my old jeep before I took it off its legs and onto those scary logs
Big plans for this one. I want to refrain from abusing this one, unlike my last one. Welding the rear axle, ordering a locker for the front, building front and rear bumpers, along with rock sliders, then possibly putting coils in the rear and stretching it. The last idea is going to be saved for another bank account
ALSO, do not proceed to bash me for my old jeep sitting on logs. NO ONE has, or will be underneath it. IF it does fall, its out of harms way from damaging anyone, or anything (other than the jeep itself). and I know someone will point out the cinderblocks under my jeep in some of the first pictures, they have jack stands sitting on top of them. I'm aware its also unsafe, but as before, no one was underneath.

blown head gasket, clutch was burnt up, rear axle locked up going down the road and exploded the gears, back doors wouldn't open (unibody was tweaked, and doors were bent/dented), body was one giant dent, every seal in it leaked, etc etc.

for the price you can pick one up, you can't beat it.
around here it varies from clay, to sand, to just plain brown dirt. clay isn't fun to clean up
me too. one of the main reasons why I bought another one
thanks!

thanks. I'm not new to xj's btw I'm going to run the d35 till I breaks, then swap in my c8.25 till I can afford Dana 60's. I'm ordering a locker for the d30 tomorrow.
