Got bored.

Being as it's been my only day off, I finished most of my errands and stuff, so I was sitting around twiddling my thumbs. So I decided to go wash my truck, and go for a short hike, then go take pictures. Drove by my friends parents property to see the crosses they put up, then just drove home.
Chevy whoreage: http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/r...Picture076.jpg Attachment 150289 Attachment 150290 Attachment 150291 Attachment 150292 Attachment 150293 Attachment 150294 Attachment 150295 Attachment 150296 Attachment 150297 Attachment 150298 Attachment 150299 http://i494.photobucket.com/albums/r...Picture097.jpg Attachment 150300 And my favorite picture from the day: Attachment 150301 I think next week or the week after is officially owning my truck for 2 months, and I already have put almost 4,000 miles on it. That's more then I did with the Ranger and the Dodge in the same amount of time. I've had to drive a lot farther for work, and do a lot more driving in general, though. Odometer reading from the night I brought it home: Attachment 150302 Today before I left my house (put another 30 or so miles on it): Attachment 150303 And my final question is this: Anybody know how to get cow doo doo off of paint? I've washed my truck three times since it got on there (stupid me wearing my wet poopy gloves while getting in the truck), and it STILL won't come off. Haven't tried anything else, though: Attachment 150304 |
SHANE BAN HIM NOW!!!!!

Looks good. I've always liked that chrome tape at the bottom on trucks, as long as it doesn't have all the gay chrome Wal-Mart door trim and fender trim. As for the cow poo, you could always just wet sand a little if nothing else works.

And doesn't wet sanding remove the clear coat? |

Thanks! I think I'm going to leave the chrome strip, too. It's going with the theme of the truck, and I am too lazy to remove it anyway.

I got a side job for the next couple of weekends, so I probably won't touch it for another month or so, lol. That, and I am talking to a friend of mine about moving in with him, so I may have to move it to his garage. |
Im not a real big chevy fan but I have to hand it to you, you have yourself a nice looking truck there.
|
Looks good man, you need some winder tint! lol
|
Get that cow **** off as fast as you can. I got some on my rocker panels, left it for a week and it ate right through the paint. Apparently the fecal matter from cows is at par with turpentine.

Needs leveling kit!

I remember when I was there in August we had a snowball fight a few times. Nothing like hiking through snow in a sleeveless shirt and shorts.
|
Try claying it maybe? Clay takes off a lot of stuff.
And I love the truck jim, but I'm not digging the chrome on the sides, looks cheesy to me. But the rest of the truck is great. And i agree leveling kit first, tint, then exhaust. |
***clears throat***
