got my new exhaust put on today, and pics of new tires

Well, I finally did it. I dumped my exhaust a few months ago and from the start I was not happy with it. It was straight piped dumped... sounded terrible. lol.

Anyways, Ive been doing alot of repairs lately since I am getting ready to drive to florida, so I figured this would be the best time to go ahead and get it done. Ive also done a full tune up, oil change, replaced the tires, and did an alignment. Expensive month lol.

Specs on the important stuff:
32x11.50x15 yokohama geolanders. Didnt want something agressive, and they fit the ticket. Rides alot better than the old stock bfg's and bfg mts I had.

The exhaust is a flowmaster series 10 muffler IIRC, with the last cat taken off, single in, dual out, side exit style. IT was made locally, and have only driven it about 3 miles lol. So far, I love it. I wonder if the sound will change after I put a few hundred miles on it.

anyways, here are a few pics.

I have the same exhaust setup, but Ive been debating taking the last cat off.

I must say, you might get a headache on the way down here....it drones a little.

Cool, looks like a very clean install. it'll "burn in" and it will sound a little louder over time.

That exhaust looks awesome...thats what I want to do to my '03. I dont want loud or droning so it may be a tight fit to get a larger muffler in that area though.

How long are the exhaust tips that you used?

How? It's a flowmaster so it doesn't have any packing or anything inside of it, just metal.

True. My still sounds the same. There is no packing or anything inside of the muffler. Just metal like Korey said.

Ive already put about 400 miles on the system and it hasnt changed at all.

thanks for the comments guys. I really like the exhaust around town, with the windows down it sounds quite nice. at 75 on the highway, It drones so bad that I really have to crank the music so I dont hear it lol. Ill probably get it changed to 45's behind the tires in a few months.

We had a set of Flowmaster's on a 98 'stang that sounded like hell after the 1st year.

Same here with the drone lol. I thought about running tips out the back, but I have to finish the rear bumper first.

my old 'system' was the stock exhaust cut at the muffler and a turn down put on it. I also had all the cats still on it. This one is much louder since I took off that last cat
