hmm.. wouldnt a curved front on the slider make it want to slide easier? Seems to me, that a square box, while is probably alot stronger than a tube, may cause you to get stuck on the end of the square box. maybe make both ends slanted like this " / " only with a bit more slant, so the truck will 'ride up' on to the rock or log or whatever instead of trying to push it...

Just a thought.

they're close enough to the tire that you probably wont ever get in that situation. if a huge skinny rock is sticking out of the ground and fits between the tire and slider i dont think either way is gonna help much.

on the other hand, in erics case.. if your just a giant flaming poser you never have to worry about it.

or in Matt's case you don't have to worry about it cause the TRUCK will never make it to a wheeling spot to get the truck in a position to actually USE the slider!

if the truck stays with me i'll be building another set i just need to figure out how i want to build them.

thats if someone else built them and shipped them to you. if you build yourself its cheaper.

meh, i guess we only used 1/2-3/4 of the stick of tube, that was what? $65? Then u gotta get 10' of the 2x2, no idea how much that is.. and the 1/4" plate was $12.

i could see 80-90.
