Finally got the chance to weld me up a new bumper. All cuts were made with a angle grinder, which sucked, but it worked. I did this all in a unheated garage, sunday when I finally got the bumper put on it was -18* out, hence very few pics.

I also cut 3 inches out of my hitch and welded it back together, cant really see it but it got done.

That helmet sucks. I found out the hard way that it was broken. Im still a fan of the traditional helmets.

Im really not sure what brand that one is, I borrowed it from school. The one I was using was a harbor freight model.

Yeah, I'd cut that lower horizontal piece smaller width than the top and angle the end caps in a "V" type setup. Definitely not what I would build, but hey everyone is different! I respect the creativity to be different :)

That looks like the hood I run everyday at work... Mine's a Miller XLii, older, but badass. I'm looking at the new Titanium series in my next few weeks future lol

 

It is a bit wide for my liking, but I cant really trim it up, that first up right is 2 inches in. I have plans for a different bumper, but I need to get a chop saw before I think about doing it.

Not bad, but I'd definitely trim it. If the upright is that close, maybe cut it there and box the ends in instead of having the horizontals sticking out. Nuce work, though.
