installed my front hitch today..



first test- 4500 lbs trailer on the hitch...lowered my truck 4 inches but it held up

I eventually wanna do this to mine. I haven't looked for a hitch though. Looks good though.

Not sure I like the bumper being cut but a shot from farther away would be better. Is it weleded in? Or bolted on?

 

Bumper looks odd, but it works.

 

i cracked the bumper in one of the massive snow stroms...so i cut it since i was doin the body lift anyway...ill get pics of how we welded it..i cut it to fit inside the frame rails and my buddy welded it to the frame and then to the crossmember

 

Looks good... I'd like to do something similar as well!
