so i went down to Santa Cruz to visit family (took off the swampers for the 350mi drive...wish i would have brought them) and went to Hollister hill with my cousin and my dad. my dad was in his 2006 2500 Chevy with the 6.0 and a locker in the back. and my cousin has a 1991 ford bronco with a 4 inch lift and 33's with a locker. and me with my stock ranger open front and rear. i made it through some pretty gnarly stuff tho. just had to do it multiple times to get up stuff with open diffs. any way here is the pix/vids

got the vids up...now waitin on moar pix. i kept stalling it going up that wall because my 4lo 1st gear was not low enough and i was trying to go up it and i was at like 700rpms idling up it. it was a lot of fun tho.

ya the place has like 25 miles of off road terrain ranging from green and blue to triple black diamond. but it was a lot of fun....and the jeep was just some guys...we were going down the trail and came up on him and had to wait for him to get out...then went on down it the rest of the way.

 

HOLLISTER HILLS FTMFW!!! I went down there a lot in jr. high in my brothers old Dodge Powerwagon. I miss going there sometimes too bad I'm not a 4x4 =(.

 

well now i know where i'm going on a road trip to!

ya surprisingly all the damage it suffered is that little bit on the side of the windshield. they dragged that thing 50ft up that ditch too until they got it too a place where that could get to it easier and change the tire..lol
