Icon10 hrm...more exteror leds are in (56k outch)

Uh..oh I installed my new V-LEDs and superbrightleds today/yesterday

First off license plate:
2x SuperBrightLeds(WLED-WHP5)

Next corners, turn signals:
2x SuperBrightLeds(WLED-AHP5 amber)
4x V-LEDs Amber 60 M-SMT Park/Turn Bulbs (3157_60_SMT_A)

Reverse Lights:
*Side note already had L1224Rs and line of fire
2x V-LEDs HID White 5k 60 M-SMT DRL Backup/Parking Light Bulbs(3157_60_SMT_W_5K)

Night shots to come shortly One thing I already noticed is i should have gone with larger amber corner bulbs.

The next mod will be the new SD 06+ cargo/3rd brake light & interior dome/map sometime next week. Also need to convert my hitch cover as well then I will have no more incandescent like JP7

I actually removed my own reverse LED lights...

The light output in color temps made it hard to see thigns properly - they are too much of a white//blue white.. Incandescent bulbs work much better for reversing, they actually illuminate in the proper color spectrum

ok after hanging out at In-N-Out Burger for the last couple of hours here are some night picts..Although not the best. I still need to learn the trick to taking good night shots with my Olympus C770 cam.

headlamps are HIDs btw

The reverse lights turned out really well. Not so impressed with the amber corners and turn signals though. I wish they were just a little bit brighter.

Also I now have a problem(didn't notice it till driving tonight since i used the hazards to check led function). For some reason I am now hyper flashing after adding the front turn signal leds using my EP-27 electronic flasher from napa auto parts. I already had the L1224Rs and oznium led strips on it before and it was working fine. Not good because no one else caries electronic flashers around here and means I have to get one online. Plus I get to take apart my dash again to install the new one

yup got dome light parts on the way from superbrightleds and dash has been converted already except glove box which never lit up anyways lol. Its probably burnt out.

forgot about my brake/runing lamp hitch cover too. Options are either a replacement vleds bulb or leds on a circuit board if I can find one that fits up against the cover. the problem with the lazy bulb route is there is nothing for light to reflect off in there.

You should see what happens when yous tart turning all the corner lamps to LED's when you have the blinker mod on - TrePaul tested out some LED's I had in my own truck on his corner bulb (Going for a white/silver theme on the front with soem led's I had) And the thign woudl click all wierd and not blink in certain modes.. really messed up..

Thats the only thing stopping me from going LED's on the corners and rear - You have to deal with the electronic issue of the low wattage being put out, makes things iffy and I dont liek electronics funking around.. lol

whoah that's very odd. did it work fine in yours? I'm wondering if maybe something was up with one of the bulbs or something. Otherwise I'm guessing the PCM or flasher module didn't like them for some reason.

Anyways I need to try another flasher module myself(probably from either V-LEDs or Superbrightleds). I hope whatever I get has the same clicker sound as the napa autoparts one which I really like. If that doesn't work I guess I'll be forced go back to incandescent in the front.

last night when I was swapping back to incandescent in my front corner turn signals to temporarily kill the hyperflash until i get a new flasher. I noticed that the LEDs seem as bright as the regular bulbs however in my reflectors they scatter light more thus its not as focused giving it a duller appearance.

Also I'd like to know if anyone on here is successfully running LEDs in both tails and front turns plus led turn signals on their mirrors? maybe the key is the mirrors sending it over the top.

Yup the plan is to take it a bit further and stick custom built LED arrays up in it. I have all the leds on order and hopefully arriving monday. 100 20,000mcd white & 100 7000mcd Red. Both are 165° viewing angle. I cant wait
