i finally got around to putting some pics of my HID's, right now i am running the 6000K bulbs, and i have some 4300K's on order for the snow time

Do the HIDs put out alot more light than stock?

where you get yours and how much?

how much for replacement bulbs?

 

4300 - 6000k put out 3 x times halogens. also its a pure white light

 

damn that's bright, very nice!

 

I like it. Those would come in handy for off-roading. My only suggestion, non HID related, center up the license plate.

 

the replacements run me about $30 shipped

Very Nice! I'm going to see if I can get my self a pair for Christmas! BTW are those the projector Fog lights? I am thinking of getting some for when I do my 03 bumper/valance swap on my truck. How do they work out for ya?

 

dont get projector fog lights.. just use HIDS in your fogs.. run 3000k in your fogs and those projector things are crap.

 

i used to have the projector fogs in until.......................... a rock took them out

 

rocks take out my fog lights allll the time its a sad story.. 90 bucks from ford.. or 44 online or whatever on ebay haha.. but its a pain..

I was thinking the projector fogs + HID would benefit well together. But I guess the projector fogs are not really meant for HID's. Just trying to get a review on them from someone who has owned them for a period of time. Is it + or -, was it worth the money?....anyways nice truck.

almost no glare....there's really not that much glare in these housings.

him being so low, how's he blinding people? now, me on the other hand..... lol.

Improperly aimed lights of any kind will cause annoying glare. If you aim the right, it won't be a problem.

and like shane said with me being low, its no problem with glare, actually i need to aim them up, my passengers side is way low, and the top adjusters are way up, so i guess its time when i get my replacement plugs to spin the bottom adjusters out

 

i would tell you that your better off HID for lights and fogs and thats just my opinion.
