LMAO!!!!

They make nothing for Mazdas

Yes, the plate holder went bye bye. Resides in the garage beside the muffler, where it belongs.

I just used the Rubberized Rockerguard from Canadian Tire, the $9.99 stuff.

Looks really, really good! The downside is that in a few months it won't look like that, it'll be all faded.

Yeah that's what I have. Its kinda hard not to get it to build up and have a constant texture.

I am thinking of just doing my bottom rockers in this as my truck is already black lol.

What was the prep? Sand it down to bare metal and spray it on?

I just sanded it with my orbital sander using 120 grit to rough it and feather any chips and rust. Then I just tack clothed it and sprayed.

Looks REEEEAL good mikey. It actually takes the sour taste from my eyes when looking at a mazda! I mean...it REALLY completemented the truck VERY nicely!!

I know it's gone and all now, but I found this thread because I'm thinking about doing the ventvisor over the xcab windows and swore you had 'em. Yup..you did. Question: Do you remember the brand? I'm trying to find an in-channel front door + on body 4th doors combo pack...seem to be having some trouble finding them. All I've found are ones that mount to the body paint...I know the Xcab part does tape to the body, but the front part I want inchannel like what I currently have.

Thanks for any info!!

Shane

Why the hell did you sell the truck, Mikey?!?!?! Son of a *****!

I am gonna do this on both of my trucks. On the Chevy, I think I am going to do it around the chrome things.

Shane I think they were Ventshade, but not 100% sure on it. They were installed on the truck at the dealer when my dad bought it.

And Jimmeh, lots of reasons to sell it;

-Terrible on gas
-Super high miles (over 260k miles)
-Still on the original timing chain = $$$$ when it does go
-Don't really need a 4x4 around the city
-Mazda B2200 actually has a wider and bigger bed, though not like I'm hauling much with a lowered pickup
-Hated the manual tranny in it
-Sell it now while it still retained some sort of value, and by selling it for what I got for it, I just about broke even.
