Installed my Roof Racks

I was planning to put this rack on during my Winter break, but did not end up doing it. I also added cold-cathodes in the rear of my cab to light up the back, but I do not have a picture of that yet (its too freakin messy back there). Anyways, here are some pictures! sorry, the truck is super dirty

Enjoy!

(double post on GE as well )

Nice Larson!

What do the stickers on your windshield say?

Oh and I want to see pics of the cathodes, I bought these LED strips, but not sure they are going to be as bright as I wanted, so looking for other ideas just in case.

I think one side says "GENERATION EDGE" and the other one is R-F

The stickers say Right and Left, just in case I don't know which side I'm on... hahah.

no, it says Ranger-Forums and Generation-EDGE on them.

I'll have pictures of the cathodes up ASAP, I just need to clear out all the shoes I have in there

Hahha, not many of my friends have trucks here too.

Thanks man, I installed the mirrors like almost a year ago, but never got around to painting them... oh well.

hahah, wat up Sean. I'm liking the C32 that you got... though it wouldn't be my first choice. What happened to the FX50?!?

I'm down to have dinner, but I'm not in LA much. I'm still in Santa Barbara, finishing up.

Hm... um... just to have

I'm planning to make a basket (dad's gonna teach me how to weld, so i guess I can probably "practice" on a basket) and put that on up. It's just mostly for utility. Since I have a cap, I hate not being able to fit a full-sized bed + boxspring inside the bed. Now I can. And also, when i snowboard, I can can throw it up there and put the red of the things in the bed. I'm gonna check out craigslist once in a while to see if there are any attachments I can get from there. I actually got these from cragslist. It only cost me 100 bucks for the rack, I bought the side pieces to attach it onto the cap.

the mirrors are awesome. They really do function better than the older-styled ones. Just follow Maurice's how-to to the dot. I didn't put the washers.. or rings.. or whatever in, and they vibrate quite a bit. I'm too lazy to put those in, but I will.

I got a few other mods I'm planning, so when I do all of those, I can put the rings/washers in there as well.

Are they a Yakima rack? I have those on my topper. When I go camping, a canoe fits perfectly up there.

They are indeed Yakimas. I like the rounded bars vs the Thule squared ones.

They look like the mirrors with the color matched caps on them, is that right? How much did those cost with that option?

I got the mirrors with the paint-less cap (they call it the primer cap, but its not primered at all). The primer cap is a little bit grey and I think I paid like.. 70 bucks with employee discount (i use to work across the street from a dealership and they knew me there)

Youre in Santa Barbara? Im surprised i havent seen you around. UCSB im guessing? I grew up here and i go to SBCC. If you ever see a white 2002 edge with MT classic locks and BFG's throw me a wave or a note or something. Love the truck man, im thinking about getting a shell as well.
