Amazing.. best wheelin trip to date.
I left my tires at 25psi and hardly slipped the tires, they only slipped if they were wet, but they still hooked up like a ****!
My carnage:
-tweaked the hell out of the trans cross member
-another warn.. i think it was full of **** from the lake still
-broke the steering intermediate shaft under the dash-- FACTORY PART..twice, horrible ****ing design.
-stripped out the threads on the ball joint part of the one ton TRE on the pitman arm
-both axles are leaking like sives
-diff cover and d44 took a custom shaving..
-had to replace the rear u-joint cause it was mad tickin, no grease, I blame that on the trip to the lake.
-clutch is on its final leg
lessons learned. granite is some nasty ****, square DS ate some rock
, high pinion axles are the **** when your high centerd on a big pile of rocks, i STILL need a rear locker or spool. I even let the right foot have some fun and didn't break a shaft.
I need a clutch, roasted the **** out of it in one hole, need a hydraulic ram, need a p/s cooler, need a cage, and NEED a rear locker.
The front spool wasnt THAT bad on the rocks, i thought i was gonna have to unlock hubs to turn, but for the most part I just left them locked in.

one of the few times I almost flopped.. I thought FOR SURE it was going over, that pass. tire was all of about 2" away from that rock before the truck came back and settled down

he was open/open, then the guy behind him was open/open trying to pull him up.. good times, but its all good most of those toyota guys were dbags so were laughing our ***'s off.

dang good time. my camera took a poo on me so i didnt get any pics. ny of my ranger will come from other peoples.
oh and i had some pretty nasty carnage.

the landowners are renewing the lease to the people who run the offroad park. they say they want to live on it or something. anyway, i was rig 205 and i got in late friday night. but, we sat in the pavilion until about 3 am and watched rvs and rigs roll in all night and some saturday morning. i heard reports of over 350+ rigs out there....
