4 would be ideal.

-12mm off set is just like saying 4.53 backspacing.

the offset is in direct relation to the backspacing.

offset is measured from the center line of the wheel which on a 9" wide wheel is 4.5" from either side.

backspacing is measured from the back of the wheel to the hub. the smaller the backspacing the more the wheel sticks out(deep dish). the higher the backspacing the further the wheel sticks in.

stock wheels are 16x7 with 4.5 backspacing. your new ones i linked are 17x9 with 4.53 BS

.03" is nothing... so we will just ignore that. .03 is 12mm or close.

now since old is 7 wide and new is 9 wide and your backspacing is virtually the same that means your wheel will be an inch wider in each direction.

hope that makes sense.

You sound like you're on the right track and I can definitely hook you up as soon as you're ready.

As far as the rims go, I'm doing 10% off all ultra rims right now.

HOnestly, I'd do 15's and 35's with the bl and suspension. From what I remember, those 17's and such get PRICEY. And so do tires.

15's and 35's your looking at 400 for rims and 800 for tires. About.

Double lift on 33s look awesome IMO. 35s are too much strain on the drivetrain.

Truck looks good as is, but I can't wait to see it lifted. I'd love to see it on 35's but I love big tires on a Ranger.

Zach, a little off- topic, but what would you get as a DD?

Okay so I got ya know, so let me ask you this now. Does that mean these rims will be a deeper rim? I ask this because I saw the moto metals in person the other day and I wasn't feeling them mainly because they where not NEARLY as deep dish of a rim as they looked like in the picture. I think I get what ya mean, I just wanna make sure the ones Im lookin at arent near flush ones like the ones I saw.
Thanks again for all the help zach

depends what size those motos were. i mean they could be 16x8s or who knows really. even some of the 17s are different. they are not really that deep of a dish. i like the ones Alon posted and i know he will treat you right.

I got my PA bl under the bed since 2 weeks and my 17" chrome mags + 33" baja claw radial at the shop since a month. The problem: there is 15 feets of snow in Quebec right now and im still waiting for summer. I really need to pimp that 2008 ranger fast, i cant wait anymore!!!

I usually like winter but this year, there is something different!!
